Job Summary
This hybrid role, based in Guxhagen near Kassel, involves providing 2nd Level Technical Support for the Biobrain® Supervise SCADA software product. The Technical Support Engineer will remotely assist field service technicians globally, offering technical consultation regarding the system's application and scalability. Key responsibilities include advising service employees on technical issues related to the SCADA system, collaborating closely with Quality and Development teams, and participating in product release processes. The ideal candidate possesses a background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification, strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and server environments, and expertise in computer hardware/software. Fluency in English is mandatory, and a service-oriented, solution-focused approach is essential to succeed in this dynamic, growing life-science environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training with a focus on Electrical Engineering, or a qualification as a Technician/Master, or a Bachelor's degree in a similar technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment (desirable)
