The Lead Architect at REWE digital is tasked with defining and driving the IT architecture for one of the company's key product worlds, contributing significantly to the digitalization of the German food retail sector. This role requires establishing the architectural and technical vision in close collaboration with Chief Architects, Directors, CPOs, and Agile Coaches. Day-to-day responsibilities include promoting architectural standards, setting priorities for the architecture team, controlling compliance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration across the product world. The ideal candidate must possess several years of experience in software development and IT architecture design, coupled with profound knowledge of modern methodologies like Microservice Architectures, DevOps, and Design Thinking. Strong leadership skills are essential for building and developing high-performing teams.
