Job Summary

This critical leadership role involves establishing, leading, and advancing the central License Management function across the entire REWE Group. The Lead Group License Management is responsible for shaping the strategic direction and operational execution of enterprise-wide Software Asset Management (SAM), ensuring license compliance, and identifying economic optimization potential. Day-to-day tasks include leading a central License Management team, managing an external service provider (including contract and performance monitoring), and collaborating closely with Senior Management, IT Procurement, and Enterprise Architecture to align licensing strategies with overarching business goals. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in IT Management or Business Administration with an IT focus, combined with several years of professional experience in License or Software Asset Management, preferably within a corporate group environment. Strong leadership skills, expertise in software licensing and compliance, and fluent communication skills in both German and English are essential for success in this influential position.
