Job Summary

This crucial role involves the detailed planning and design of complex EV charging infrastructure projects, focusing heavily on medium voltage grid connections and transformer stations. The Engineer will collaborate closely with grid operators to ensure seamless integration and compliance. Day-to-day tasks include developing comprehensive specifications, conducting detailed cost estimations for electrical systems and civil engineering, and creating technical documentation such as CAD drawings and circuit diagrams. A key responsibility is performing on-site inspections to assess installation feasibility and managing the scope of work between grid operators and external installation service providers. The ideal candidate holds a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering and possesses strong professional experience in medium voltage switchgear and power distribution. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or completed training as an Electrical Master Craftsman or Technician focusing on Electrical Engineering, or similar qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience, especially in medium voltage switchgear and power distribution systems
  • Experience with meter-measurement concepts and grid connections
  • Experience in the construction and commissioning of electrotechnical systems
