Job Summary

This role involves planning and designing charging infrastructure projects, focusing heavily on medium voltage grid connections in collaboration with network operators. The specialist will be responsible for creating detailed specifications and cost estimates for electrical engineering, civil works, installation, and commissioning, including functional testing. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections to assess feasibility for charging concepts, creating technical project descriptions using tools like CAD drawings and wiring diagrams, and defining the scope of installation services relative to network operators and external contractors. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (Master Electrician/Technician), professional experience with medium voltage switchgear and power distribution systems, and strong knowledge of VDE standards. This position offers the opportunity to drive the future of renewable energy and e-mobility within a flexible, full-time (36h/4.5-day week) structure, with hybrid or potential 100% remote work options.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or completed qualification as Master Electrician or Technician with a focus on Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in medium voltage switchgear and power distribution systems
  • Experience with meter measurement concepts, grid connections, and the construction/commissioning of electrotechnical systems
