Job Summary

This role is for a Technical Assistant specializing in Protein Process Development, located on-site in Freiburg, contributing to the development of new or improved manufacturing processes for recombinant proteins. Key daily responsibilities include executing technical development projects focused on eukaryotic and prokaryotic cell culture, chromatography, and filtration techniques. The assistant will be responsible for operating and maintaining qualified laboratory equipment, alongside performing necessary organizational tasks to ensure smooth laboratory operations. Required qualifications include completed vocational training as a Technical Assistant, Laboratory Technician, or equivalent, along with fluency in German and intermediate English skills. Ideally, candidates bring initial professional experience in recombinant protein expression and multi-year practical experience in chromatography or working with bioreactors.
