Job Summary

This role involves joining a 14-member team focused on international product development projects for Bioreactor Technologies. The Electrical and Automation Engineer will primarily design and implement innovative automation concepts for single-use bioreactors. Key responsibilities include developing electrical schematics using Eplan, functionally specifying and implementing bioreactor systems, optimizing bioprocess control systems, and integrating sensors and actuators using standard interfaces and protocols. The role also requires ensuring the electrical safety of developed systems and creating product software based on internal modules. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, possesses multi-year professional experience in automation/electrical engineering, and is fluent in both German and English. This hybrid position offers flexible work arrangements between remote work and on-site presence in Göttingen or Guxhagen, providing an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge life science technology.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in automation technology and/or electrical engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of operating Eplan software
  • Experience in integrating automation components
  • Knowledge of common interfaces and protocols for automation components
  • Very good knowledge of relevant norms and guidelines (e.g., DIN-EN-61010)
