Job Summary

This role is for a highly qualified Technical Specialist within the Cyber and Information Space Command (KdoCIR) of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The primary focus is on military intelligence analysis within the cyber domain. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing military intelligence, investigating, and evaluating the threat potential and capabilities of foreign actors in cyberspace. The specialist will contribute to foundational intelligence products and continuously observe and develop indicators for threat potential, supporting both Crisis Early Warning (KFE) and NATO Indication and Warning processes. Key requirements include a Master's degree in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, mandatory German citizenship, and high proficiency in English (C1). The position is full-time, permanent, and requires successful completion of an enhanced security clearance (Ü 3), along with regular domestic and international business travel.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or University Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable field.

  • Professional experience in analysis focusing on the Cyber Domain (Desired)
  • Professional experience with Sitaware and NG&A (Desired)
  • Professional experience in IT security and cyber defense processes (Desired)
  • Professional experience in modern leadership/personnel management (Desired)
  • Willingness to undertake regular domestic and international business travel
