Job Summary

This role involves leading the Sensor Planning section within the Sensor Department, focusing on Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) for the German Military Intelligence Service. The specialist will coordinate and monitor documentation of sensor planning processes in OSINT databases, develop search strategies for intelligence requirements, and define security and risk management measures for reconnaissance activities. They will also evaluate OSINT techniques and procedures from an IT perspective, identify improvements, and act as the central point of contact for OSINT IT support. This position requires active participation in national and international conferences, continuous professional development, and willingness to travel, offering an attractive, permanent full-time position with a competitive salary and a specialized allowance.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or university diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in process and project planning
  • Professional experience in mass data analysis using modern IT-supported methods and databases
  • Professional experience with advanced basic knowledge in Data Science
  • Professional experience in the working methods and procedures of Military Intelligence (MilNW)

Languages

English (Fluent)
