This role seeks an experienced Medicinal Chemist to drive the development, planning, and execution of active substance design strategies within early-stage pharmaceutical research. The core responsibilities include optimizing lead structures by integrating SAR/SPR data, ADMET properties, and target selectivity. The position demands close collaboration with biology, pharmacology, DMPK, and patent law teams to ensure holistic development approaches. Key qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Clinical/Medicinal Chemistry and proven professional experience in drug discovery, particularly within cardiovascular diseases, oncology, and immunology. The successful candidate must possess strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to interpret biological test results for continuous substance refinement. Experience

  • 5 years of advanced training/postgraduate experience in Clinical or Medicinal Chemistry, or equivalent professional experience
  • Professional experience in drug discovery within Cardiovascular Diseases, Oncology, and Immunology
  • Experience in developing and implementing SAR/SPR strategies and drug design
  • Experience in managing and coordinating external partners (CROs)
