Job Summary

This senior leadership role involves the technical and disciplinary management of the Mainframe IMS and CICS department for a major European banking IT service provider. The successful candidate will drive the digitalization strategy by overseeing the conception, planning, installation, configuration, and continuous, trouble-free operation of critical software components on the z-platform, specifically focusing on Mainframe transaction monitors (IMS and CICS) and associated monitoring and administration tools. Key leadership responsibilities include staff coaching, goal setting, resource allocation, and budget planning aligned with corporate strategy. Candidates must possess strong leadership qualities, entrepreneurial thinking, and excellent communication skills, ideally backed by a degree in Computer Science and several years of relevant professional experience.
