Job Summary

This role is for a Software Architect specializing in Authentication Architectures within one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers, driving the digital strategy for the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. The architect will hold primary architectural responsibility for the two-factor authentication strategy, focusing on Keycloak and Java implementation. Key daily tasks involve overseeing technical implementation in projects, collaborating closely with DevOps colleagues and business analysts, and ensuring the quality of architectural concepts and code through Quality Gates, Test Driven Development, and Clean Code principles. The position requires a strong communicator capable of advising internal departments, platform teams, subsidiaries, and technology partners on authentication strategies. Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with at least five years of professional experience, comprehensive knowledge of Keycloak, Java/Spring, Microservices, and Cloud-native approaches.
