Job Summary

This role involves working as a SAS Application Developer within the Liquidity Reporting department of a major European banking IT service provider. The primary focus is on developing, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions related to regulatory reporting, adapting to the constantly evolving requirements of banking supervision. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent conception and creation of SAS programs, planning and executing rigorous developer and regression testing, and managing the rollout of supported components. You will also be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of daily processing, particularly around critical reporting deadlines (Stichtagen). The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience, particularly strong knowledge of SAS (Base, Macro, SQL) and DB2. This fixed-term, 18-month position offers the opportunity to engage in challenging project work and contribute to essential data warehousing and regulatory compliance tasks.
