Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated IT Service Engineer to drive digitalization and maintain crucial IT infrastructure within production environments, focusing heavily on Industry 4.0 initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing and resolving complex industrial IT requirements and disturbances, leading exciting digitalization projects in production, managing the entire lifecycle of IT components in manufacturing facilities, and continuously developing a robust knowledge base. The engineer will also implement and optimize IT processes and handle administrative tasks. The ideal candidate holds a completed technical vocational qualification, such as an IT Systems Electronics Specialist or equivalent, and possesses initial practical experience in trade or industry. Success requires a structured, customer-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, and solid technical knowledge of server systems (specifically Active Directory) and networking fundamentals. The position offers high planning security through a permanent contract and flexible working models.
