Job Summary

This permanent position is for a Chemical Technician specializing in Quality Control within a global pharmaceutical company located in Cologne, which focuses on manufacturing consumer healthcare products. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently conducting crucial quality checks, including in-process, goods receipt, and packaging material testing, as well as collecting raw material samples. Key day-to-day tasks involve maintaining and updating quality-relevant documentation and control procedures, managing laboratory material procurement, and assisting with the deployment and further development of new IT systems and procedures. Candidates must possess a completed vocational background as a Chemical or Pharmaceutical Technician, be experienced in GMP environments, and be familiar with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). This role requires proficiency in MS Office, good German and English skills, and a willingness to participate in shift work.
