Job Summary

This full-time, permanent role in Kiel seeks an Industrial Mechatronics Technician to ensure the smooth operation of critical logistics infrastructure, including conveyor, parcel, and letter sorting systems. Day-to-day responsibilities involve performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical faults during operation. The technician will continuously monitor system performance, document all maintenance activities using IT systems, and provide essential technical guidance and instruction to operating staff. The ideal candidate must possess a completed apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician for Operational Technology or an equivalent qualification (such as a certified electrician), excellent hands-on skills in mechanics, electrics, and electronics, and proficiency in basic IT tools (Windows/MS Office).
