Job Summary

The Federal Agency for Real Estate (BImA) is seeking an Operations Manager to join the Facility Management division in Berlin, focusing on technical building management for high-profile federal properties, including those utilized by Supreme Federal Authorities (e.g., Bundestag, Federal Council, Government Airport). This role involves planning, organizing, and implementing technical facility management duties, ensuring compliance with operator and contractor obligations, particularly concerning technical building equipment. The manager will be responsible for operational planning according to DIN 32736, managing occupational health and safety (including risk assessments), and overseeing investment measures and construction tasks per RBBau guidelines. Key qualifications include a technical degree or equivalent technician certification in relevant fields (e.g., Electrical or Supply Engineering), multi-year professional experience in technical facility management, and strong knowledge of relevant German regulations (GEFMA, AMEV, DIN, RBBau).
