Job Summary

This role involves working as a technical specialist within the Data Protection Office for the Federal Ministry of Defense business area, situated at the Federal Armed Forces Support Command in Koblenz. The specialist will leverage their technical expertise to ensure that data processing operations and digitalization efforts across the support sector, particularly within the Central Medical Service, comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Key responsibilities include providing technical contributions to data protection legal opinions, managing technical matters related to the support sector, and advising staff on technical and organizational measures (TOMs). The position is permanent, offering the possibility of civil servant status (Verbeamtung), flexible working hours including home office options, and 30 days of annual leave. Candidates must hold a university degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and be willing to undergo an enhanced security clearance (Ü2).
