Job Summary
Siemens is seeking a Senior Advanced Process Control Engineer to join a dynamic, start-up-like group focused on the next generation of APC systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced process control solutions for Siemens' global customers, integrating modern control technologies into complex production systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to the entire APC value chain from product development to maintenance, and support operational improvements using the latest APC and machine learning technologies. This position offers an attractive opportunity to significantly impact Siemens' automation and AI portfolio, requiring expertise in APC implementation, distributed control systems, and a strong background in chemical or control engineering.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- Long-term experience in implementing APC solutions in a process industry environment
- Experience leading complex projects
- Experience with distributed control systems, process instrumentation, and supervisory control applications
- Experience with APC implementation or business case development
- Proven experience with DMC+, Capstone MPC, INCA MPC, Forge Advanced Process Control, DeltaV Predict, or similar advanced process control platforms

- Willingness to travel internationally for occasional 1- to 2-week trips
