Job Summary

This role as an IT Service Technician in Wolfsburg involves managing the daily operations of IT equipment logistics and providing essential 1st Level Support. Key responsibilities center on the administration of inventory and equipment lending for testing purposes, alongside managing the shipping and receiving of IT materials. The technician will be crucial in device commissioning (staging), performing detailed fault and disruption analyses, and meticulously documenting all processes using ticketing systems, including handling the entire RMA cycle. A significant part of the job includes providing 1st Level Support for Mobile Devices (HDTs and Tablets) and specialized logistics hardware. Candidates must demonstrate multi-year professional experience in IT support, rollout, or hardware/software service, coupled with a strong technical understanding of both hardware and software systems. Fluency in written and spoken German and good English skills for international communication are mandatory, along with a service-oriented approach and flexibility for occasional on-site assignments.
