Technische Universität Dresden Arbeitsstätte Dresden
Job Summary
This fixed-term Research Associate position at TU Dresden focuses on the cutting-edge Hy²Cycle project, aiming to develop resource-efficient and recycling-compatible cells and stacks for advanced fuel cells and electrolyzers. The project specifically targets high-pressure alkaline and reversible PEM concepts, emphasizing circular economy principles from design through operation. The core responsibilities involve the materials engineering design of a prototype electrolyzer and supporting the development of its corresponding test stand. Candidates must possess a very good scientific university degree in Materials Engineering. While professional experience in the field and prior involvement in scientific research projects are advantageous, a critical prerequisite for non-native German speakers is certified German fluency (C2 level). This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to sustainable hydrogen technology and circular economy principles in energy systems research.
