Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position as Head of Road Construction for the City of Delmenhorst requires a Master Craftsman certification in Road Construction to lead a team of approximately 15 employees. Daily responsibilities include managing assignments, developing on-call schedules, coordinating winter services, conducting annual staff reviews, and ensuring compliance with work safety regulations. You will serve as the primary advisor and contact person for clients and manage internal interfaces within the municipal construction operations. Key requirements include strong social competence, good IT skills, knowledge of technical contract conditions and safety standards, and a Class B driving license.
