Job Summary

This crucial role involves serving as a Building Services Engineer within the New Construction and Expansion Measures department for the city of Delmenhorst. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive construction project management of complex building projects, including demanding expansions across various municipal high-rise buildings (schools, fire stations, administrative buildings, etc.). Key daily activities include coordinating and supervising external engineering firms and construction companies as the client representative, acting as the direct contact for users, planners, and contractors, and independently executing engineering services across all project phases. The position demands strong organizational skills, economic decision-making, and rigorous quality, schedule, and cost control. Required qualifications include a university degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Energy and Building Services or Supply Technology, coupled with professional experience in structural engineering and familiarity with construction, procurement, and planning law. Fluency in German (C1 level) is mandatory.
