Job Summary

The city of Delmenhorst is seeking a Non-Technical Auditor to join its Audit Office. In this role, you will be responsible for independently auditing cash registers, payment offices, and verifying grant usage. You will also contribute to organizational audits within various city administration departments as part of an audit team, and review daily financial statements. A key aspect of the role involves providing expert advice to organizational units and preparing digital audit reports. You will analyze and evaluate operational processes and procedures during audits and in collegial consultations, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, accuracy, regularity, appropriateness, and economic efficiency. Required Skills

Education

First Entry-Level of Career Group 2, General Services, or a publicly completed university degree with an administrative or business administration focus (Diplom or Bachelor), or successfully completed Angestelltenlehrgang II (Employee Training Course II)

Experience

  • Professional experience in various areas of municipal administration
  • Comprehensive knowledge of budgetary law according to the New Municipal Accounting (NKR)
