Job Summary

This Service Technician role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and optimizing technically sophisticated systems for clients primarily in the automotive industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing complex maintenance and repair tasks, conducting independent fault diagnosis, and implementing technical upgrades and modernization measures directly at customer sites. The technician will also be responsible for training operating personnel on system usage and providing essential telephone support for technical inquiries. Candidates must possess a completed technical qualification in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Mechanics, ideally supplemented by a Technician or Master Craftsman certification. Success in this position requires a highly autonomous, structured, and solution-oriented approach, along with a strong enthusiasm for modern technologies like measurement, testing, and electromobility. The role involves regular travel for field assignments and active participation in continuous product improvement efforts.
