This is a fixed-term, part-time (50%, 19.35 hours/week) research position at the Otto Diels Institute for Organic Chemistry at Kiel University, specifically designed for a candidate pursuing a PhD. The core focus involves synthesizing and characterizing photomechanical polymer films, integrating extensive organic synthesis with specialized techniques like microfluidics, polymer analysis, and optical experimentation. The role also includes a teaching commitment (2 hours per week), involving supervising students in practicals and final theses. Required Skills
