Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the automation of engineering processes and developing necessary standards within a standardization team focused on centrifugal and separation technologies. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for filling the 'Module Box' by developing and standardizing electrotechnical module solutions for project-specific automation tasks, coordinating closely with project execution departments. Key duties include detailed electrotechnical engineering, interface clarification, and prioritizing work, alongside standardizing procedures, circuit diagrams, and components. The role requires collaboration across Engineering, Service, and Sales, and integrating standard solutions into product configurators for quoting and order processing. Candidates should possess a background as an Engineer or Technician in Electrical Engineering/Automation, experience with product and circuit diagram configuration, and knowledge of standard-compliant control cabinet construction and EPLAN or similar tools. This is a 5-year fixed-term position, offering the chance to contribute creative ideas to the digitalization of control system construction.

Required Skills

Education

Technician or Engineer qualification in Electrical Engineering/Automation

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Technician or Engineer in Electrical Engineering/Automation
  • Experience in configuring products and circuit diagrams is desirable
  • Knowledge of standard-compliant control cabinet construction
  • Experience in creating circuit plan documentation (EPLAN or similar)
