Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Service Desk Support Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for business customers experiencing IT disruptions in Dortmund or Bochum. Day-to-day responsibilities involve independently handling incoming technical inquiries and incident reports via telephone, acting as the first line of support (1st Level Support). The specialist will also analyze the existing IT infrastructure and contribute to identifying and implementing optimization potential. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT apprenticeship or a degree in (Business) Informatics, combined with initial practical experience in an IT Helpdesk or Service Desk setting. Key technical competencies include proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and applications such as Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and O365.
