Job Summary

This specialist role involves taking responsibility for the data center networks and associated power supply systems within the telecommunications sector, directly contributing to the ongoing energy transition efforts. Day-to-day tasks include developing technical standards, guidelines, and operational concepts for data networks, cabling, and 48V power supply systems. A critical component of the role is managing obsolescence, monitoring product lifecycles, and defining specifications for support and maintenance. The specialist will lead technical development projects, conducting feasibility assessments and defining architectures and technologies. Candidates must possess a degree or vocational training in IT or Electrical Engineering and at least three years of proven experience in planning and operating data network infrastructure and power supplies. Strong communication skills and proficiency in German (C1) and English (B1) are required for success in this highly flexible environment.
