Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and driving the short, medium, and long-term climate protection and adaptation activities within the Technical Department of the City of Herford, focusing on municipal properties and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and prioritizing initiatives based on the municipal climate protection concept and thermal planning, and supporting ongoing projects to assess their energy and climate impact. Key tasks include setting up a controlling system, generating regular balance reports for various committees, and actively identifying and applying for necessary funding. This position requires a technical degree, expertise in climate protection, energy efficiency, and strong communication skills to manage cross-departmental topics and coordinate with municipal subsidiaries.
