This expert role focuses on leading tax compliance for cross-border activities within a global HR team, ensuring adherence to local and international tax laws for the mobile workforce. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the tax implications of international business travel, secondments, transfers, and foreign mobile work. You will steer and monitor all tax-relevant aspects of global mobility programs in collaboration with internal and external service providers. A key function is providing expert advice to HR and management on complex tax issues, including Tax Equalization and social security matters. The position requires a deep understanding of international tax regulations, especially concerning key markets like Germany and the USA. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CPP) or an MBA with a focus on international taxation are advantageous.

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in tax, specifically supporting global mobility programs
  • Professional experience in tax compliance for international secondments
  • In-depth knowledge of tax legislation in relevant markets (e.g., Germany, USA)
  • Experience interpreting and applying multi- and bilateral tax and social security agreements in complex scenarios
