Job Summary

This role involves working at the heart of the regional distribution network operator, LEW Verteilnetz GmbH, ensuring the safe and secure operation of the extensive 36,000-kilometer medium and high-voltage power grid. The successful candidate will primarily work from the central network control center, leading the monitoring and control activities. Key daily tasks include creating and reviewing switching requests, localizing and analyzing faults using the central control system, and coordinating rapid power restoration efforts with field colleagues. You will also be responsible for maintaining network data and supporting the technical advancement and optimization of the control center systems. This position is ideal for engineers interested in driving the energy transition. While initial training involves day shifts, a willingness to transition into full shift service (including nights, weekends, and holidays) is required to guarantee 24/7 grid reliability.
