Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Operations Manager for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to oversee the technical operation and management of complex security and communication systems for federal authorities in Berlin-Mitte. The manager will assume full operator responsibility, ensuring seamless operation through developing comprehensive maintenance plans, negotiating service contracts, and leading an operational team. A significant part of the role involves acting as the project lead for construction and modification measures, including planning, creating tenders for engineering firms, and supervising execution. Key qualifications include a technical university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Telecommunications or Communication Technology and several years of experience operating security systems (such as fire/intrusion alarms, video surveillance). Experience with CAFM systems is highly desirable. This position offers the stability of a major public employer (BImA) and the opportunity to manage critical infrastructure, requiring a willingness to undergo an extended security clearance.
