Job Summary

This critical role seeks a Rocket Propellant Chemist responsible for maintaining and advancing the core propellant and liner technology used in rocket engines. Day-to-day tasks involve ensuring the technical integrity of manufacturing processes, including updating documentation and formulating stringent safety regulations, particularly within an explosive production environment. A key function is the development of novel propellant and liner formulations, selecting appropriate processes and tooling for serial applications. The role also requires close collaboration with Quality Assurance and System Engineering teams, performing data analysis, conducting design reviews, and preparing detailed technical reports and presentations for both domestic and international clients. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Polymer Sciences and over five years of professional experience in chemical production, coupled with fluency in both German and English. Success in this position demands a high sense of responsibility and self-discipline while working independently or in a team within a matrix organization.
