Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) Distribution Expert to drive and optimize complex pharmaceutical logistics workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities involve leading Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives, implementing distribution strategies for new product categories with specific requirements (e.g., temperature control, biosafety), and serving as the primary liaison for critical interfaces like Clinical Development regarding distribution and customs compliance. The expert will also be responsible for creating and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), mentoring new team members, and representing Distribution Management in specialized projects covering areas like Import/Export and Temperature Monitoring. Success requires a relevant scientific or distribution management degree combined with several years of professional experience in the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry, strong knowledge of international customs regulations (EU/US/JP), and proven abilities in coaching and independent process development.
