Job Summary

The University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD) is seeking a Network Management Administrator specializing in WLAN infrastructure to join the Center for Digitization and Information Technology. This role involves taking partial responsibility for the provision and administration of complex IT and network components across LAN and WLAN environments. A major focus will be on the planning, commissioning, administration, troubleshooting, and remediation of the entire WLAN infrastructure. You will also be instrumental in project support, executing system rollouts and migrations, and developing and implementing security strategies in alignment with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) guidelines. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, excellent foundational knowledge of IP communication, and profound practical experience in Cisco Enterprise Networks.
