Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Product Owner to join an agile development team focused on building an innovative software product for a critical Cybersecurity platform deployed across Siemens Mobility devices, specifically protecting train control systems. The Product Owner serves as the vital link between stakeholders, customers, and the development team. Daily tasks involve actively gathering security requirements, translating them into precise User Stories and acceptance criteria, and rigorously maintaining the Product Backlog. You will facilitate key agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning and Backlog Refinement, ensuring the team understands the product vision and assisting in defining product strategy. Candidates should possess a university degree in a relevant technical field and initial practical experience in software development or system integration. A strong interest in Cybersecurity is essential, along with knowledge of C++, Rust, and/or Python. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure protection, utilizing modern technologies (Debian GNU/Linux, C++/Rust) while helping shape the future of sustainable and secure mobility. Fluent German and English skills are required.
