Quality Inspector for Railway Power Converters | Qualitätsprüfer (w/m/d) für Bahnstromrichter

Job Summary

This role involves independently preparing and executing type, acceptance, and development tests for complex railway power converter devices, operating at high voltages (up to 4.5 kV) and high rated outputs (up to 7 MW). Day-to-day responsibilities include meticulously planning experimental setups, selecting appropriate measuring instruments, and ensuring all tests adhere to specifications provided by type testing engineers. A critical component of the job is the careful documentation of all test results. Furthermore, the inspector will accompany tests and special measurements conducted at external testing institutes and participate in quality and technical audits. The ideal candidate must possess a completed qualification in Electrical or Energy Technology and bring long-term professional experience in testing high-voltage electrical or electronic products (above AC 1 kV or DC 1.5 kV).
