Job Summary

This role involves working as a System Design Engineer for TKMS Atlas Elektronik GmbH, a leading international maritime high-technology company specializing in hydroacoustics and sensor technology in Bremen. The core responsibility is the strategic development and maintenance of organizational and employee expertise within specialized technical domains. Day-to-day tasks include conceiving and processing complex system descriptions, defining system requirements, developing system architectures, and creating System-of-Systems definitions within project frameworks. You will be responsible for decomposing systems into sub-elements, defining derived requirements, and modeling system concepts, ensuring compliance with necessary technical standards. A critical component of the role is implementing customer specifications regarding System Safety, System Security, and Usability into the design, and coordinating system-wide verification and validation concepts. Candidates must hold a degree in Systems Engineering or Natural Sciences and possess long-term professional experience in complex system design, coupled with proficiency in specialized tools like Doors Classic and MagicDraw.
