Job Summary

This CI/CD Engineer role, located in Ulm for Airbus Defence and Space, focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, Git-based CI/CD pipelines, primarily utilizing Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Nexus. Key daily tasks include conceptualizing variant-based build pipelines to support diverse target platforms, consolidating and migrating legacy Subversion jobs to modern Git workflows, and integrating various automated testing methods (Unit, Integration, Regression) into the pipeline lifecycle. The successful candidate will also be responsible for optimizing build stability and speed, performing root-cause analysis for integration issues, and developing comprehensive monitoring dashboards for quality metrics. Required qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, several years of experience with Jenkins and Git CI/CD principles, and mandatory expertise in containerization (Docker) and Python programming.
