Job Summary

This role involves providing direct, hands-on technical support to users within a modern support environment, specifically at a TechLounge/Servicepoint. The Onsite Technician will be responsible for the setup, dismantling, delivery, installation, and configuration of various IT hardware, including client and server equipment, as well as providing dedicated support for Apple devices like iPhones and iPads. A key part of the job includes performing Break & Fix tasks, processing disruption tickets, and assisting in 1st and 2nd Level Support, both remotely and on-site. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Windows and Apple technologies, possesses strong documentation skills using ITSM ticketing systems, and thrives in a service-oriented, team environment. This position offers an opportunity to work on a long-term infrastructure project within a leading German IT service provider, supporting large enterprises and public clients in their digital transformation efforts.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the IT sector (or equivalent professional experience)

Experience

  • Completed vocational training in the IT sector OR 1 year of practical experience in a comparable position
  • Professional experience in large customer environments
  • Good knowledge of handling hardware from HP, Lenovo, printers, iPhones, and iPads
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 and iOS

German (Fluent)
