Job Summary

This role involves coordinating IT and data protection activities within the Taxes and Treasury Department. Key responsibilities include leading IT projects for the selection, evaluation, and implementation of new applications and infrastructure, and collaborating on cross-departmental IT initiatives. The coordinator will also be crucial in advancing the department's digitalization strategy, providing administrative support for hardware/software (including installation and configuration), and ensuring IT security. A significant part of the job focuses on handling internal data protection concerns, responding to external inquiries, and contributing to cross-departmental data protection matters. The ideal candidate must possess relevant qualifications in administration, IT, or a related field, strong legal fundamentals in IT/data protection, and proven project management skills, demonstrating teamwork and a proactive, conceptual working style.

Required Skills

Education

Civil service qualification for Career Group 2, First Entry Level (preferably with a focus on Administrative Informatics), or successful completion of Administrative Course II, or a comparable university degree (e.g., Diploma in Finance, Bachelor/Diploma in Administrative Management, or a university degree in Informatics/Computer Science, or equivalent vocational training with supplementary qualifications.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a vocational training role with relevant technical focus (e.g., IT Systems Electronics, IT Systems Clerk, IT Specialist) combined with information technology expertise and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree
  • Professional experience in the public sector (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) workplaces (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Data Protection/General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (desirable)
