Job Summary

As a Senior IT Strategy Manager, you will be a crucial player in shaping the overall IT strategy for Siemens Healthineers, ensuring alignment with global business objectives. Your daily responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to IT leadership, driving business and IT transformation using global best practices, and coordinating technology assessments (e.g., Citizen Development, Low Code, Cloud, APIs) to develop multi-year platform roadmaps. The role requires a degree in (Business) Informatics or Industrial Engineering, coupled with extensive, long-standing professional experience in strategic IT management, digital transformation, and organizational change, preferably gained within a consulting environment or the medical technology sector. You must also possess proven leadership skills and be fluent in both English and German to thrive in this international setting. This position offers the opportunity to drive pioneering innovations in healthcare technology within a dynamic global team, supported by significant flexibility, including up to 60% mobile work within Germany.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable fields

Experience

  • Long-standing professional experience and success in strategic IT management, digital transformation, and change management
  • Experience gained in a consulting firm or comparable IT management consulting function (Strategy, Controlling, Organization, Processes, Post-Merger Integration)
  • Proven success as a Project Manager in international projects focused on IT organization optimization
  • In-depth experience in product management and operational business within an agile environment
  • Proven experience in IT integration management
  • Leadership experience in IT or business strategy
