Job Summary

This Senior IoT Test Professional role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of connected energy solutions within the Smart Infrastructure sector. Day-to-day responsibilities involve defining testability requirements, actively integrating test-driven approaches into requirements engineering, and relentlessly driving test automation to improve coverage and efficiency. You will coordinate technical activities, participate in design reviews to proactively identify risks, and integrate test infrastructure seamlessly into target systems. Collaboration is key, requiring close work with cross-functional teams across international locations (Berlin, Bangalore, Nuremberg). The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Energy Technology and brings several years of experience as a Software Tester in an agile environment, coupled with deep knowledge of IoT, Cloud Computing, Containerization, and Linux. Crucially, candidates must be certified as a Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft) to independently perform laboratory test setups. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Energy Technology, or a comparable field. Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft) status required. ISTQB certification is ideal.

Experience

  • Several years of experience as a Software Tester in an agile development environment
  • Long-standing experience in Python programming
  • International experience collaborating with partners in Berlin and Bangalore
