Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the smooth, secure, and future-proof operation of the telecommunications and communication systems for the Recklinghausen District Administration, which manages over 2,000 IT workplaces. The IT System Technician will be responsible for the continuous operation and development of telecommunications technology (TK), including VoIP, SIP, analog/digital systems, and Unified Communications solutions. Key daily tasks include configuring, operating, and administering TK systems, managing cross-location programming and maintenance of system components, and supporting hybrid operations (on-premises/Cloud). The ideal candidate must possess a completed IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or equivalent qualification, coupled with long-term professional experience in IT system administration and strong knowledge of VoIP/SIP and IT networking. This part-time position (19.5 hours/week) offers a secure, permanent contract and flexible working arrangements.
