Job Summary

This Director-level role involves providing strategic leadership and coordination for the cross-functional CMC materials team in Mainz, Germany. The primary objective is to ensure robust lifecycle management of materials essential for the production of individualized cancer therapeutics. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing long-term strategies for raw materials and components, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance (GMP), and supply chain robustness from clinical development through commercialization. The Director will drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify and mitigate supply risks, and facilitate critical collaboration across functions like Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Affairs. A key component of the role is assembling and leading a team of subject-matter experts and demonstrating proven leadership in a matrix organization to enable the seamless transition of innovative cancer therapies to market.
