Job Summary
This role is centered on leading, planning, and executing highly complex research and development projects in the fields of Text Mining and Artificial Intelligence, specifically focusing on text-based applications. The researcher will be responsible for developing and applying sophisticated models for intelligent data analysis, such as stylometry, tailored to meet police investigative requirements and support operational deployments, often in national and international contexts. Key duties include contributing to the development and deployment of prototype applications for investigations and evaluations, and participating in national and international committee work. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Computer Linguistics (Machine Learning focus), Computer Science (Text Mining focus), or a comparable MINT field with an IT specialization, alongside fluent German language skills. Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Master's, Magister, or university diploma) in Computer Linguistics (with Machine Learning focus), Computer Science (with Text Mining focus), or a comparable scientific university degree from the MINT sector with an IT specialization.

- Experience in leading, planning, and executing complex R&D projects in text analysis

Additional
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including required overtime for operational support. Readiness for occasional multi-day business trips (approx. 3-5 per year) and operational deployments (approx. 1-2 per year). Minimum physical fitness required for participation in operational deployments (IT evidence securing). Required travel readiness.
