Job Summary

This role involves active participation in the planning, implementation, and continuous development of complex network infrastructures for a leading IT service provider specializing in digital transformation for large enterprises and public clients across Germany. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the installation and configuration of network and server components, including major vendors like Huawei, Cisco, and Aruba. Core duties include setting up copper and fiber optic (LWL) cabling, executing hardware tests, performing troubleshooting and support (IMAC services), and managing change processes and documentation in live networks. Candidates must bring a completed IT qualification or at least three years of comparable experience, coupled with several years of practical expertise in LAN rollouts and datacenter projects. Essential technical knowledge includes VLAN, STP/RSTP/MST, LACP, and CLI experience. This temporary, full-time position requires very good German skills and a Class B driver's license, offering involvement in technically demanding, long-term infrastructure projects.
