This doctoral researcher position, based at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) within the Research Unit FOR5068, focuses on investigating sex-specific differences in immune responses, particularly in the context of autoimmune liver diseases like Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH) and Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC). The researcher will execute project P06, which examines the role of androgens in these conditions, utilizing both experimental and translational approaches. Key responsibilities include processing human and murine samples, generating 3D organoid cultures, conducting animal experiments, and performing advanced data analysis using techniques such as FACS, single-cell RNAseq, and spatial transcriptomics.
