Job Summary
This role involves leading the coordination project (FOR5159) within a complex, interdisciplinary research consortium funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), focusing on molecular neurobiology, specifically how prefrontal circuits encode cognitive flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include comprehensive project planning, steering, and monitoring across eight sites, managing the budget, and overseeing central structures. A crucial part of the role is preparing scientific reports, publications, and regulatory submissions to ethics commissions, often involving statistical data processing. The position requires a scientific university degree in fields like Life Sciences or Epidemiology, coupled with proven expertise in project and quality management, and experience leading research teams. Candidates must demonstrate excellent English proficiency (C-Level) and strong PC skills, including database and graphic design software. This is an attractive, varied, and impactful role at the UKE, initially offered as a four-year fixed-term contract (50-100% time) with the goal of long-term placement.

Completed scientific university degree in Biomedicine, Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, Business/Economics, Humanities, Psychology, Law, Sociology, or equivalent skills and experience
